Just received my credit file, does anyone know how I can work out my credit points?

Do you mean your credit score?

If you do unfortunately there is no set guide. All companies have different points for different things based on who their target group is. What might get you 10 points from one might get you -20 from another.

You can improve your credit score in many ways such as making sure you are on the electoral roll, and all the info on the report is up to date, even closing some old open accounts would reduce the amount of credit available so may make you a better risk(?)
