Well I went to 2 Asda's earlier, both closest to me, one in Brighton, and the other in Brighton Marina. Got to the Brighton Asda at 10:20pm to find all Wii's already allocated, and 15 people sitting around at the last checkout right at the end for midnight to arrive!

Then went on to the marina Asda, couldnt see anybody waiting but the woman at the electronics desk said that they had all been 'pre-allocated', unless they just went to staff?! That was at about 10:45pm, :(

    Ah well!

Woolworths aren't going to fulfil my pre order, I'm going to complain at them and get compensation since they guaranteed delivery on week of release (As far as I'm concerned that means latest they can supply is Saturday)

Not much of a concelation to you but I read on a forum (cannot remember which one) that if pre-ordered the wii from Woolworths and they cannot fulfil it they were apparantly giving you a £20 voucher

Don't know how true this is though

But you are missing the point - Woolworths had a massive banner on their front page when I ordered that stated 'GUARANTEEDdelivery on week of release' and claimed they were in control of the pre orders and would stop taking them once they were fully booked.

I went to Gamestation for about quater to 12 and about 10 people waiting for the pre-order (30 pre-orders to the store) and one tit with a video camera :S

They had NO Wii Remotes or Wii Classic pads, quite a few games, and I saw 4 component cables on the shelf and wiied my pants, couldnt believe they had any I got 2 another lad got 1, these will sell for like £50+ Got a Zelda because they are suppose to in shortage and a wii nunchuck.

Asda has loads of chairs in there but nobody was left I went at about half past after leaving Gamestation, they had a couple of games and 4 classic pads and that was it for acessories, got 2 for £15 each.

    Pretty chuffed really.

Well good luck but there are so many pointers in this thread that state Game and HMV are the best when it come to allocating stock.

Woolworths were ok with the 360 but ......

Anyway I hope you get yours soon. I heard second delivery is Tuesday next week.

I will go to the store I selected for the delivery and see if they can shed light on if I will get one then :)
  • Went to my local Asda store at 10pm. The 10 they had in stock had all been allocated. First to be in line was at 2pm today, last in line was 6pm.

I'm glad I wasn't in line all that time. Those geeks sure looked interesting people to talk to......

Anyway, I'm number 36 in line for a wii at my local Game store. They have 30 in stock, a few people have dropped out so I am next in line !!!

    Got everything crossed !

Indeed what does the T's and C's say about the guaranteed delivery and did you grab a screen shot of the Banner.

Woolies are bound to have some sort of get out.

But they are a 'family' store :D
