Nar ... sorry ways of saying something being sarcastic and putting someone down at the same time is not clever or big , she did not know better and did not deserve the answer she got off that person don't be so bloody mean. we are not ALL brainboxes and financially minded. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it♥0 -
we are not ALL brainboxes and financially minded.
Are you suggesting either of those are requirements in this case?
Do you NEED to be a "brainbox" to think there is something amiss when your phone rings, from a number you don't recognise, from a caller you don't know and without knowing what company they represent?
This stranger goes on to ask for all the info to access your bank account, but by not being a "brainbox", you happily give out said information.
This is akin to me walking up to you in the street and asking for your house keys and address.
Not being a "brainbox", you give them to me then wonder in blissful bewilderment how all your stuff has been nicked.
Of course I could have puts lots of hugs, but if my sarcasm has shamed the OP into not doing this again then we have both won.
If all the OP gets is sympathy and cuddles, they may do it again.0 -

They have a consumer credit licence so you can go down the route of complaint to them then Financial Ombudsman Service if necessary.
If FOS upholds them complaint and they don't pay up they risk losing that licence.0 -
