Parking beside George street

I'm afraid not, the closest place I know about is right behind St Bernards Crescent in a small sqaure, clearly marked "zone ends" a good ten minute walk from George St, remember parking wardens in Edinburgh are jumped up little wannabes, any excuse they will lift your car and you'll be forced to pay £135, then so much extra per day on top.0

Depends which day. If its a Sunday then you can park in the west end in a permit zone with no permit. If its on a Saturday you can park in a permit zone providing its not zones 1 or 1a. Zone 5 just at other side of Dean Bridge for example or other side at Howe Street end. Not too far to walk from there.:smileyhea0
