Pre-Approved loans
Specifically with Barclays how likely is it that you are successful getting the loan if you ask for less then the pre-approved limit, do they still do a credit check or accept the application there & then?
On my online banking page it states i've been 'pre-approved' for a loan of 13k. I need a loan for 6k and just been rejected for a PCDL even with a Experian score of 999 and no defaults on my account for the past 12 months.
I suspect i was rejected due to the large sum of available credit i had on the various accounts like store cards, NEXT account etc i hold (totalling nearly 5k) as suggested by a CreditExpert advisor.
