I had a snotty letter from Citibank last week regarding my claim for unfair charges. On Tuesday this week, i wrote again and thanked them for their "standard letter and leaflet".
I also questioned why, as feel they are justified, have they dropped their charges to remain competetive? Surely if they are justified their service must be excellent and be worth the £20 - £25 they charge.
I mentioned that other financial institutions I have dealt with have been more than willing to assist, whether retrospectively or not.
Got a letter back this morning saying they apologise and will look into the matter - appreciate my patience blah blah .... and will judge the case on its own merit not as standard .... its not a result yet but at least its a personal response.
