Im going to a wedding party tonight and am wearing this dress
http://www.look.co.uk/pictures/shop-statement-shoulders/oasis-sequin-dress-%C2%A380
Im wearing with black tights and a blazer although,
Ive just realised i dont have any black shoes, stupid i know but just had major ebay clearout! The only ones i have are a tan peep toe ones or white wedges. Will the tan shoes go with a black dress?
Am so lost with this one. The only other option is skinny white jeans, white wedges and a sequin top but would much rather wear the dress.
Any advice for the shoes??
Thanks!

Are they tan or nude? If they are nude they will probably go with the dress. I don't think tan shoes will go.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

That is a gorgeous dress!
I'd say strappy heels or stilletto courts. Can you pop somewhere on your way home? Even if it's a supermarket for a cheap pair. Good luck!0 -
i have just found some grey shoes aswell. will try and post some pics up0

Tan peep-toed shoes will go fine with a black dress as long as you go bare-legged as I HATE, HATE, HATE peep-toed shoes worn with tights.0

Me too, although I'm not sure of the precise reason. Is there a logical one, or is it just some visceral thing?0 -

The logical reason would be that it looks dreadful! That lovely reinforced toe:rotfl:Not a good look:cool:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
That makes sense. Do they now make tights/stockings with "free" toes?
And if so, would that be aesthetically acceptable, or would it be just odd?0
