Warning about using Tesco online

I got caught by this in the snowy weather earlier in the year. Put order in for £150 odd quid, Tesco wouldn't deliver, I had to wait for the £150 to be put back they had picked it, and because the lorry left tesco, it got charged to my card, took me 5 days to get the money back.

I waited 8 days for a refund on groceries tesco had not delivered because a van's chiller had failed - it was over £70 refund ! The driver turned up 2 hours late and announced I could have "ambient only" or refuse the delivery. I felt they might at least have refunded the delivery fee or sent an e.voucher to encourage me to shop again. I think tesco are losing it rather, I get my stuff from Asda now.

I've never had a problem like that. Recently I had an order due for delivery on Pay day. I'd input the card details of the wrong account (as in not the account our wages go into), & the store rung to let me know they'd been unable to take the payment. We sorted it on the phone & my delivery came about 15 minutes later.
