Hi ,
Can anyone help please?
I have spoken to the CSA this morning who have told me there has been computer problems with my case ,which is why I havn't recevied any payments this month, although I had one last month but nothing prior to that since March!
They have said it has been escalated and is now in 'Triage'!
Does anyone know what this means?
Thanks in advance

Triage normally means sorting out what is urgent from what isn't, or sending things in the right direction to be dealt with properly, but what is means for the csa God only knows.
It probably means "we haven't done anything about it and we're trying to stall you".Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Something like it's gone to debt enforcement and until it comes back from them there is nothing we can do, and the same vice versa if we (case officers) have it debt enforcement can't do anything.*SIGH*

When i spoke with them on Wednesday they said it was with the technical team, they couldn't or wouldn't explain why that was .
Looks like another battle on our hands ,there is no end to it!0 -
:rotfl:I shouldn't laugh but if I don't I will cry! I think my case has been to every dept within the CSA. The NRP is determined in any which way possible to not pay child support.rampies_wife wrote: »When i spoke with them on Wednesday they said it was with the technical team, they couldn't or wouldn't explain why that was .

What annoys me as we have already been down the MP route 18 months ago as the payments were messed up by the agency, and we thought that it was all sorted but looks like we are back where we started ,We have no contact with the NRP but he has an ATO so its up to the CSA to collect and looks like they have failed to do so so are just stalling for time. Will take the next 2 weeks to put a case together to take this forward.0

What I cannot understand with this, and many cases I've seen on here, is why have the CSA not put a DOE on?? When my oh disputed the maintenance payments and refused to pay (because they were taking nearly half his wage, he was earning approx £980pm and they set maint, at £475:mad: This was for 2 kids. This was 14 years ago, so I hope to hell the rules have changed) they were quick enough to put one on his wages!! He was almost on the point of giving up work as things were so bad for us! But he'd have lost his pension, so we struggled on. I'm all for paying for your kids but it has to be at a realistic rate!!! Others have to live as well, I think sometimes the CSA forgets this!!0 -
It wouldn't happen now that they took 50% of salary if you were on payroll. It seems to depend on individual workers as to whether to put on a DOE, I had to wait for ages for them to finally take action and put one on, years of non compliance.
I suppose it makes work for them. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
