So worried

Hi all
Last month I spoke to cccs about setting up a dmp. No problem I qualify. Problem is I have a joint account with husband who cannot have default notices for his business. This account has an overdraft. Cccs suggested transferring this to his name or to my name and putting in with dmp. The bank will not do this. We have been trying to raise money to pay off this overdraft and h is waiting on a decision for a loan in his name consolidating his manageable debts into a loan
Last month I sent token payments to all creditors except my bank to whom I paid normally. I have opened a new bank account and transferred my money over. All creditors have been ok in giving me 30 days apart from mbna who are ringing me from Mumbai three times a day insisting on a payment of £750
I have now had a letter from my bank as they have noticed there is activity on my account (cancelled direct debits etc). I don't want to discuss problems with them until I know if I can go ahead with dmp. If I can't do dmp I really don't know what'll I'll do. I really will be in so much trouble then.
I just feel so worried this morning and am dreading the phone ringing in case it's Natwest who may then offset my joint account meaning mortgage etc will not be paid
Sorry don know what anyone can really say but haven't really got anyone to discuss these fears with and I am a nervous wreck. Hoping siansburys agree my h's loan soon.
Thanks for reading

Hi, sounds like you're having a tough time of it (((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))).
I can't really advise you about the loan or overdraft. I understand why the bank doesn't want to transfer it to one name because at the moment they have two of you to pursue for payment.
If you put an SOA on here (link in sticky at top of forum) then we can give you some advice about where to save some money to help you pay the overdraft or loan off. In the meantime I can only suggest you look at the income boards and have a think about how you can raise some extra cash (maybe ebay, boot fair etc).
Good luckI'm a qualified accountant but please make sure you get expert advice as any opinion is made in a private capacity.
