I think I have a good location for a billboard on the side of my house, but would like to know if anyone has any experience with the amount of income that can be generated and the term of the lease I will have to sign into? What happens if I sell the property??
The wall in question faces a main road with a large amount of passing/commuting traffic towards Sheffield city center.
Any information would be great!!
Thanks!!

be very careful I used to work for a company that did outdoor billboards and the usual terms if a deal are 10 years normally for a figure that the company will assess based on traffic flows area property is in etc. They always used to need planning permission which some companies won't always bother getting and generally they can reduce the amount they pay if they feel that the site doesn't sell well. additionally getting paid by some of the companies can take an age and may have to end in court. finally the agreement carries over if the property is sold and the new owner has great difficulty in getting the billboard removed0

You'd also have to check the deeds to your house, i think quite a few object to adverts being put up.
Have you got a car? What about advertising on there?0 -
