A few months ago before I came across this board I bought (yeah I know) a voucher off eBay for the Snowdome in Tamworth. It was buy one admission, get one free for whatever event you wanted. Saved me £8 so it was worth it.
Does anyone know where these came from? Obviously cut out of somewhere but I wouldn't have a clue as to where.

Yes, they are usually in the 'Tamworth Herald' newspaper at the start of the kids holidays (summer hols, christmas, etc).
Usually have all sorts of offers for the different activities available at the Snowdome. But the Tamworth Herald is only available in the areas surrounding Tamworth as far as I know (Tamworth, Lichfield, Swadlincote, Atherstone, etc). They do have a website: http://www.tamworthherald.co.uk/
Hope this helps!0 -
Are there any know discounts for the ski dome in Milton Keynes aswell??
Thank you0 -

If you do come across any vouchers for the snowdome I'd certainly be interested in hearing from you.
My son has recently taken up snowboarding and came home from school today asking if he could go to the snowdome. Having checked out the prices on their website, I was mortified. There is no way I could afford it, so he had to accept that it might be a long wait, perhaps a birthday treat!
MSE has been fantastic directing me towards vouchers and deals which as a single-parent have helped out no-end, but I must admit it didn't occur to me there might be discounts available for the snowdome. I've obviously still got a lot to learn.
Thanks0 -
I think you get a discount if you live in Tamworth council area, will ask OH, he's from there and his bro is some kind of long haired snowboarder dude...Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Yes if you live in Tamworth you can apply for a Leisure Card:-
Tamworth Leisure Card
What will the Leisure Card give me?- reduced prices for some of the facilities and activities run by the Borough Council
- priority booking arrangements at certain facilities
- other benefits and incentives organised as special promotions throughout the year which are in addition to the usual club offers
- discounts or special offers in participating non-council run leisure facilities on an on-going or occasional basis.
All adults and children who live within the borough of Tamworth. Also any clubs which have a home base within the borough and use council facilities that are included in the Leisure Club Scheme.
What level of price reductions are available to club members using Council-owned facilities?
These will vary according to the facility and the activity but will range between 5% and 50%.
What concessions are available from retailers and non-council leisure facilities that participate in the scheme?
These will vary from place to place but are likely to fall into two categories, namely:-- regular price reductions between 5% and 30% according to the goods or services offered.
- Occasional special offers or promotions for Leisure Club members.
- Hire of community centres and outdoor grass pitches owned by the council.
- Tickets for professional theatre shows at the the Assembly Rooms. There is already a discount system for all theatre shows.
- Tamworth Castle
- Peaks Leisure Centre
- Tamworth Golf Course
- Belgrave Sports Centre
- The Pleasure Grounds (tennis, bowls and crazy golf)
Yes. You can receive bigger reductions - usually 50% of the normal Leisure Club rates - at council owned facilities if you are a child under 16 years of age or are in one of the special eligibility categories listed on the back of the application form. Children under five do not need a card.
Special Eligibility Categories
Registered Unemployed (Proof of jobseekers allowance or this application form stamped at your job centre when you next sign on)
Senior Citizen (Over 60) (Pension book, bus pass or proof of birth date)
Full time student over 16 at school or college (Student card with proof of full time education - offer letter or this form stamped by your school/college)
In Employment training (Letter from employer or scheme tutor)
Disabled and receiving Incapacity Benefit (Allowance book or award letter)
Receiving Carers’ Allowance (Allowance book or award letter)
Lone Parent Childcare allowance (Benefit book)
Receiving Income Support or Working Families Tax Credit (Award letter or allowance book)
Widow/Widowers Pension (Award Letter or Housing/Council Tax benefit award letter)
If you want to apply for a Tamworth Leisure Card and get selected discount on holiday activities then you can apply at the reception of Marmion House or at Tamworth Information Centre on Market Street. All you need to be is a Tamworth resident to receive one; they cost £2 full price and £1 concession (concessions must provide evidence, full details are on the leaflet). All you need is proof of residency in Tamworth, some ID and one passport sized photograph.

They have a BOGOF voucher in the Staffordshire guide (available from Tourist Information centres). You can request one online here: http://www2.staffordshire.gov.uk/tourism/default.htm
The current edition's voucher expires at the end of September. The guide also has BOGOF offers for Drayton Manor, Trentham Gardens, Coors Visitor Centre and a free child ticket for Waterworld.0
