Notice to newcomers - Re: Trolls - part 8

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!
What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Abuse” icon, as shown below:
Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the abuse team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM
It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THATIf you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

OMG!!! Red wine and cola is a proper drink!!, it's actually called a Calimocho!!... I do apologise 3Dogs!..
See hereThat's because the calimocho is a half-and-half mixture of red wine and cola over a fistful of ice -- a combination that appeals to some people but turns off just as many.If you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them~Dalai LamaHow people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours~Wayne DyerLet none find fault in others. Hi all, I'm still sad and the worst is yet to come, Funeral is next Tuesday so we will be back up North on Sunday. I'm worried about Mrs H as she and her Mum were very close. It still seems surreal to her. She's doing a good job of holding it together, while I've been like a watering can.
Lady H was pleasant this afternoon! she doesn't have much choice otherwise Handy will say something He won't regret:D And people like Lady H don't like hearing the truth.
To the end MIL was a true comic. In her lucid moments she had the staff and us in stitches. One day she complained her leg was hurting. Which one asked Mrs H, "my left"said MIL. Mrs H lifted the duvet and rubbed the leg.
"Is that better" she asked. "No said MIL I've got my legs crossed":rotfl:
When her sight failed, I warned the family that her hearing would return.
My brother -in - law didn't believe me until while talking MIL's adventures and faux pass. She surfaced from semi coma and said, I can hear you, you know.
She was on Oral Morphene when she got distressed, at one point she didn't breath for 45 seconds and I couldn't find a pulse. Next thing she was back with us saying Eh I thought I was going then!
When she was in her 80's one New years Eve she led a Conga line of 20+ pensioners out onto the main road, (banging every one of Mrs H's pots and pans as drums), out onto the main road and around a traffic island. They got a police escort home and had their names taken.
An hour later the two policeman called back to have a new years drink with her. At that point she was singing Blue Bells are Blue, smoking a cigar and slowly sliding down a wall.:rotfl:
When any of the staff at the home did anything for her, she always thanked them, it's a sad reflection on society that some of the staff told me, they are rarely thanked by patient or family. I think that this is one of the reasons she made such an impression in such a short time.
Now my priority is seeing Mrs H through this, so if I'm not around as much for a while I hope you will understand.
Best wishes to all, handy.Mother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,
