Sorry you're feeling a bit down Allie. On the subject of gardening the chillies I planted are coming on well, the biggest is abt 3 ins long now and it looks like they're going to be plentiful! Nothing on the peppers yet though.I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Sliding down the page again (that's Fred, not me...)
I also have some pepper plants growing outside but no sign of fruits on them yet, and some pesky alien lifeform has been nibbling at the leaves. Starting to get some small runner beans coming through, though, and the odd raspberry from the bushes at the back. One life - your life - live it!0 -
It's silly really that i feel so fed up but I just cant seem to shake it.
Thanks for the hugs If...
BL, my mum has chillies but they're mini compared to yours! My peppers are a no show at the moment, i think i might have killed themI'm a herb expert I think - my 'mini herb garden' seems to be thriving in the good weather!

I did manage to make a small pot of coleslaw with the carrots and onion from my garden and part of a cabbage from my Mum's veggie plot so that was yummy!
not heard a peep from OH all day so feeling a bit miserable (not just because I've not heard from him, there's a whole load of reasons for my blue mood but not hearing from him doesn't help matters!).
((((hugs)))) Allie, sorry you're feeling down, we all get like that sometimes. The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Erme, my current diagnosis isn't bipolar. It changes with every new psychiatrist! Currently the scorecard is:
Bipolar: two consultants, one and a half SHO's.
Borderline Personality Disorder: one consultant, one locum (who I don't really count as he literally only saw me for ten minutes) and half an SHO.
Cyclothymia with affective and anxiety disorders: one consultant, that's my current dx.
So I've kinda given up on the names, I just concentrate on what helps! My current meds are doing well, and with no side effects (it's taken more than I can remember to get to this point!), and I'm finding out what helps. I'm doing work on that with my support worker, and I've come so far over the last year with her help. It's why I'm so angry with social services, saying that they wont take into account my meetings with her or the therapeutic groups as legitimate expenses, I can't give them up because they're helping so much, but I can't afford to take it out of my food budget like SS say I should. Anyway, I'm meeting my social worker on Wednesday, so hopefully something can be worked out.
Ooops, that turned into a longer post than I meant it to.
I know I had that for years before I got dxed with the schiz...what a battle....:(...but I never gave up hope and just stayed alive.. Then I had the PD hit me again and like lots of admissions and it was always so hard to adjust being home and then I lost my support worker (housework help) and my CPN referred me to my current team (think it was out of desperation...) and I can honestly say it was the best thing she ever did...:)
So finally getting correct (pretty much 80% plus) help after 10+ years of this illness. I personally don't feel bitter @ Services...I feel a bit kind of upset that after all the years of battering in A+E when I would SH I am now extremely paranoid and start to hear voices within 5 mins or so of being there but that's getting better. They've been really good the past 2 visits....:). I also get irked from the odd numpty that engages with me like I'm some emotional retard. But it's the odd numpty - not every single professional these days...
Today has not been good (when is Sabbath good?:o) and have broken it well and truly by buying a food processor (reduced but it should never have been £80) that I thought I needed...so purging soon..:A...need space for food in my kitchen not just 'gadgets'... so yeah ...all that stuff and now feeling funny and butterflies over tomorrow...
Any fish pray I sleep tonight....still reckon I've got no hope of getting this job even though I really want it

:rotfl:I know what you mean Allie, herbs are good to grow as they look after themselves pretty much so it gives you a sense of achievement(sp?) and they grow quickly too.
Erme - Don't be too hard on yourself about the interview, you will be fine, just try and get a decent nights sleep and good luck.I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Re gardening - we put several fruit bushes/plants in this year - our blackberry bushes have given us a few fruit so far, and raspberries are forming, but no real signs on loganberries - however we have several tomatoes ready to harvest tomorrow with lots more waiting to ripen. The strawberries we tried gave us 6 fruit from 5 plants - not a success
Erme - sorry to hear your story but at least you seem to be getting somewhere now - good luck for the interview tomorrow but don't be so hard on yourself - you are really doing so well at the moment so just do your best hun :kisses3:
You too Ames - you've had a rough time of it as well :kisses3:
And a big hug for Allie - hope you're feeling brighter soon petal :kisses3:
We had a really good food shop today spending £28.25 in Mr S on food that would have cost £54.41, and then £36.13 at Mr T on food worth £123.34 - all in all a saving of ........... £113.37 :money: We just caught the whoopsies on their second reduction so now have a very full fridge and two packed-out freezers :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Well done 3Dogs on your savings:T I found some good ones in Mr T last week, got £50 worth of meat, chicken, lamb, pork for less than a tenner, like you I didn't have room in the freezer so had to juggle it a bit! Our Mr T doesn't usually reduce their stuff by much it's rare that you get a pound off but Mr A usually do much better. I don't know how my tinned food cupboard stays on the wall, I really must stop buying and start using some of it:oI must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D
