Money Shop cheques cashed.

I currently have £750 of outstanding cheques with Money Shop.

In total I am paying £120 per month to extend the cheques and I don't really have enough to be able to repay any of them at the moment.

Has anyone got any advice on how I might be able to approach them to arrange a repayment plan?

I have already spoken to them and they've made me an offer to repay £95 per month for 15 months which seems extreme especially as I should be able to get everything repaid within the next 6 months anyway...

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards,

So you mean to say you want to pay them off faster and with a bigger payment each month than they suggested?

If so write them a letter to say so and enclose your first cheque, I can't forsee any problem with that at all.
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared

    Hi,

Do as Hannah has suggested and send the cheques each month. If you cannot afford to pay the full amount, send what you can, but don't let them bully you into the 15 month option.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
