I am thinking of applying for £5000 from my bank. Do you think it is even worth trying?
Thanks! :-)
in a word..............NO
what would be the point? you were looking to consolidate and that wouldnt even pay off one, let alone both0 -

What is the problem you are trying to solve here? I normally point out at this point that consolidation is a bad idea because it assumes that the answer to "I can't afford my debt" is "I know what this debt needs in order to make it go away... more of the same... that'll do it"... but a £5k loan won't even do that for you. It's just more debt.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
there are plenty of lenders out there don't worry just because Sainsburys haven't given you one- they're primarily a supermarket0

please go and take a wee look into sainsburys bank before posting such tosh0 -
£15K loan, coupled with the credit you already have, is a very low salary for that amount of debt.
You would need to be earning upwards of £40K just to be considered.0 -
Masterlump, I was merely stating that there are so many choices out there. However, I admit, it wasn't the best way of putting it!0

I agree why go to the grocery store to get money? I usually get mine from a bank and get shopping from a grocery store.
Sainsuburys is not a bank anyway, they use halifax. :rotfl:
I thought your post was ok, and I understood what you meant. :T0 -

CCJs = no loan with a mainstream lender. Leaving you payday loans or loan sharks, neither option is worth considering.
Save up, you can get a decent car for £1-2k in the meantime.Thinking critically since 1996....0
