Loan Aplication - Incorrect Information
Dear All,
I have applied for a £15,000.00 Loan through NW. 24 h later they have sent my an application form stating that in principle my loan has been approved, nonetheless there are still few further checks to be carried out. So far fine and dandy.
However, when I was reading about the information I have supplied I was able to see that the guy who took my details has input them wrongly; whether this has been purposely made I don't know, although I presume he did, as I guess there must be some commission/bonus involved, I won't speculate on that anyway.
The point is that when I was applying over the phone I told him that I had another Loan, and two credit cards, also I told him about my rent, based on £355 a month and about the fact that I also get a bonus based on 15 of my salary (£28.000) upon performance.
I was amazed to see in the application that according to it, I haven't got any borrowing, neither credit cards and my rent seems to decrease from £355 to £300. I remember once we finished with the application process over the phone, this guy told me, ok!! You got it in principle, and that is because you must have a very good credit score. No wonder after input all my details wrongly; of course my so called credit score is great.
My question is, should I call NW and advice on the errors so they can amend my application? Or should I send my application as such, with all the above mentioned omissions and errors on it?
I guess the second option will jeopardise my application, but I thought I rather check with you guys.
Thank you Very much for your help and advices on this, VERY MUCH APRECIATTED.

Do not sign the form as you sign to agree. do make ammendments to it as they will nbot accept that, they would need to send a new one out with correct info
call them back and explain0 -
Thank you very much for your advice.
That is what I did, and guess what, once my details were correct the interest rate went from the original 6.9 up to 8.9.
I asked them to consider a lower rate as a consequence of the wrongdoings of the member of their staff that took my details in the first place. Basing my argument on that if I had applied was because I showed the interest rate at 6.9, otherwise I wouldn't.
They told me they will consider it and will call me next Monday. Let's see what they say.
Again thanks for your comment0
