I would expect many people on here have done these, and some will say they got paid and some will say they didn't.
Going through a cashback site is no guarantee you will get anything, especially from banks, insurance companies and telecoms companies.0 -
From your experience your know that MSE has been advocating all these things and more for yonks.
Lots of people have done it just try reading a few of the relevant threads.0 -
they look as if theyre lifted from MSE! exactly the things i done when i found this site 2 years ago!0

sounds like Rosie Murray-West has been reading some of Martin's basic advice"And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0

i found this some times before and i really want to do this to earn some extra ..but i could not find time for this...and i have some doubts of their credibility too....0

10 minutes to swap bank accounts? That's a good one!

You can usually get more for your old phone on eBay compared to the phone recycling companies, depending on make, model and age etc.:A0 -

I review my gas/electric at least once a year using uSwitch and usually end up changing suppliers, that's often around £100 cashback or even more.
I also will swap TV/Broadband/Phone packages fairly often if the deal is good enough, another £50 or so there.
When mobile contracts run out I look for new deals, often decent cashback amounts here.
Some banks offer cashback for opening accounts, Alliance and Leicester were giving £50 for this and Legal and General ISAs a similar amount.
Quidco have started highlighting "hot offers" on their homepage, worth looking through those to see if you can take advantage of anthing. For example at the moment Tesco are giving £10 for doing an online shop (pays for the delivery) PLUS another £10 cashback, this is money for nothing but there is some small print so be careful.
Remember whenever you need to buy anything, see if you can get it online and if anyone offers cashback - I usually get £30 or so every year buy Christmas shopping online.
Once you get into the habit the pounds start to mount up.
Basically I think to myself, whenever I am going to spend any more, can I make any cashback from this? You need to be a bit cleverer than that, use comparison sites to find the best deal, taking into account the cashback available as well. It may be worth paying an extra £20 for car insurance for example, if you get £100 cashback.
You need to be careful now though as cashback amounts are coming down (especially for insurance) and some suppliers will charge a penalty if you switch before you've been with them for a set time period - a lot of utility providers charge £30 or so if you leave them before having been with them for a year so watch out!
Good luck!:A0 -
I tried to switch utilities but they didn't have my meter in their database so couldn.t do it online. Had nothing but hassle when i tried to switch after moving in.0
