you have to remember the board guides and admin DONT read every single post, they rely on us members to help also if we see something we think is out of line or in the wrong place etc etc.0

The Daxon Coat offer was Publicly available on the front page of their website....So thats more than likely the reason that is stayed up as it was open to anyone and everyone.0

There was a big problem regarding posting La Redoute codes a while back, La Redoute got involved and complained and stuff so I think the difference is that your codes were to do with La Redoute which I don't think we're really supposed to put on here anymore. I'm sure the mods have nothing against you at all and it's just cos of nasty La Redoute moaning!!0

Couple of points here,
Firstly the abuse controllers are not moderators as such, as Moonie says, it would be impossible for us to read every single thread of every single forum. We rely on help from board guides and everyone else to report abusive and otherwise inappropriate posts to us. For an explanation of this system please check here.
Secondly there is a distinction between voucher codes that are meant for individuals and ones that are meant for everyone to use. There have been instances where people have posted codes that were meant specifically for them. This could mean you are breaking the terms of the voucher and it may then be withdrawn for everyone. It is important that when you post a voucher code it is open to everyone and you state this in your post if it is unclear.
In the case of la redoute, they made it clear that voucher codes that are not meant for general use are not to be posted on this site. It was at best unclear if those codes were for public use so I had to take the cautious approach and remove them. As I said in the thread, if you can confirm they are for public use and can provide a link to where they can be found, please feel free to start a new thread.

sorry for all the hassle. i thought i was only doing evreyone a favour!!!!! things maybe just aren`t clear enough. maybe you can get a "sticky" post for the redoute offers and others similar, so that its clear for everyone, and to make sure only the correct codes get posted. because not everyone who posts here has been around to remember past issues.

There is an announcement in this forum above the stickies Online Discount Vouchers - The Rules by Martin that explains this. Here is an extract:Specific Individual Vouchers: *These tend to be just for the recipient to use. *That means they're not transferable; do be careful you are not in breach of terms and conditions. *Sometimes it is possible to use these more than once and distribute them to individuals. *Be warned, that is fraud and not condoned or supported by this site. *Please do not post such links here.0
