Huggies are £5.50 a box and Pampers are £6 - they didn't have any wipes but still various tommee tippee cups, plates, bowls, cutlery and pots from 50p :j
Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!

Hi does anyone know if the Falmouth branch has any reductions yet? It's about an hours drive so don't want to pop their on the off chance, but with little one due in 7 weeks it could be worth the drive tomorrow if it's all going cheap!

many thanks if you can offer advice.

I would ring the store first and see if they can reserve anything for you if there's stuff in stock. I rang my local branches this morning before sending hubby out on the rampage for cheap nappies. The asda staff were really helpful at telling me which baby bits were reduced and what they had in stock. p.s congrats with the baby! :D

We went to our local Asda in the morning and they had the Johnson's Baby Wipes pack of 6 for £2.50 and bought one pack and 1 pack of Little Swimmers that came through at £1.50. A few minutes after we bought those, came back to buy some more and the prices were back up to £5 for the wipes and £3 for the Huggies Little Swimmers and they were saying that was just a limited offer. Still bought the Huggies nappies for £5.50, which was a good deal, but the Pampers were back up to £12 from £6. So it looks the prices are back up in our local Ada (Eastleigh).

ask for the johnsons wipes 6 box, we were in about 2pm, and found one lonely box. got the price checked and was £2.50. the wife then hung round the swing doors at the back and asked a young lad and he bought her out the 6 boxes she asked for.

Thanks for this. I have tried calling them and have been given conflicing advice, yes they have reduced the nappies, then no, and they don't know when they will go down, or if they will as it's automatic, they were a couple of very hard work conversations!

I think I might just chance it and take a drive down there tomorrow!

Thanks again for all your help and ideas everyone

I was in Blyth, Northumberland when the girl at the next till mentioned they were so cheap. The customer service assistant went and got me a box of size 4s and stayed to make sure they went through at £5.50......which they didn't ! But she did an over-ride and I got them for £5.50.
I went back round to see if I coud find any size 5s but couldn't but managed to get the last 2 boxes of size 6 and they went through at £5.50.

    A fantastic bargain.

The wipes weren't reduced though! Shame as I need to stock up!
They were reducing quite a few things.
I managed to get a box of Avent drinking cups for only £5 instead of £10.
