Continuing on this subject,had email from Maximail offering 110 goes on the Euro Lottery this evening.Am I to assume the old adage "if it seems too good to be true........"

I wouldn't trust those Maximail emails. I get about 3 everyday and I always just delete them. I you had won they would ask for you to email your details, not follow a link.

I got an email from Maximail. I had recently registered with Maxim magazine, and assumed it was them. I made the mistake of opening the email and clicking the unsubscribe link. All that seemed to do was let them know that my email address was active. The next day, my inbox was full of spam, which hasn't stopped since, so they clearly sell your address on.
