Driving instructor franchises? Anyone got anything good to say about them...?

  • Glad to have been some help Bionic Dad, good luck in whatever you decide to do.
  • LDC is charging around £170 franchise fee per month + £400 a month for car rental. Here is the flexible bit about their franchise is that you can buy a car yourself of 5-6 years old and just pay them the franchise fee, or you can lease a car privately from a leasing coming and do the same. So the car doesn't have to be new as long as in good condition and something modern which pupils recognised. They charge around £2360 for their driving instructor course which is cheaper than the likes of AA/BSM/Red. Work is a lot to do with your area and word of mouth.

    thank you :)
Mrs Bionic is a secondary school teacher and I work at a college so I think building a client base wouldnt be an issue.
However Mrs B has a lot of out of hours work to do and we have two under 8 terrors and altho I am more than happy to put the graft in and I think I have the ideal demeanour, I can see how the relationship issues would manifest...

thanks again Mad back to the drawing board I guess...?
