Compensation Payments and the CSA

I currently pay regularly my obligations to the CSA and everything is up to date.
My employer is about to change my contract and remove my company car. However they are going to compensate me with 3 years car and fuel allowance in December so I can buy and run a car for my job.
My question is, when I receive that payment (Approx £14000), will I have to declare it to the CSA and pay a chunk to them?
Do I need to make sure my employer pays it seperately and not with my salary?
Help please!!

If it's taxable then it will be used as income. What you need to do is make a claim for business expenses as a variation. I receive a car allowance too and went thru the appeals process to get the business use of my car recognised.0

well done OP on being a compliant NRP. I too am one.
All to often us NRPs get a torrent of slaggings on this board! Seems a lot of people forget that not all NRPs are non compliant! When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

There are lots of us that pay our dues, all that annoys me with this forum is the bullying that goes on, one reason why RM was seen to be a hero and nowt will be said bad about this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-108764100 -

I echo your approval of the OP, but there is plenty of slagging off of "moneygrabbing" PWCs too...Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

I concur with that. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

I think you will find that it is the non compliant NRP's that aren't particularly rated by any person let alone on an internet forum.
You could of course also say that alot of people think that PWC are money grabbing, Sky watching, non working, drinking and smoking slags (but of course the same NRP's that say that were happy to jump into bed with her).
'Alot' of people don't forget that. It's a small minority of embittered NRP who like to smear that at every opportunity (the same NRP who have no open minds about PWC funnily enough - see above).0 -

Bullying? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And if things 'annoy' you then why do you log on? Touch of being a martyr there is it not?
Yes DUTR, we all know you 'pay your dues'. Well done you
Edit - why have you posted the link you have? What has that sad story got to do about anything being discussed?0 -

Cos she could have killed herself and left the children out of it

Totally agree. You must have a pretty warped view of women if you think that 'nowt bad would be said about it though'.
Probably as it's nothing to do with child support then it had no reason to be in this section...you could always start a thread in DT though and see if your theory is corect though?
There is nothing 'heroic' about what this woman has done and quite why you would think anyone would think otherwise is just sad on your part0
