Would the Glucosamine and Chondroitin tablets be suitable for giving to dogs do you know? My dog is on these and was just wondering....“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

Is it just me, or do other people find that Holland & Barratt prices are usually at least double the price of Boots / Tesco / Asda / Superdrug and so when H&B have a 50% off sale, they are still more expensive than the aforementioned shops?

Cheers Ted, when you think they cost £25 at the vets. I've had my eyes opened this week in relation to pet medication.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I always check my usual sources before I buy but I do assure you the current weekend offers and the 50% off sale deals work out cheaper than anywhere else at the moment. I've checked on the things I bought so I know they really are cheaper than the rest but as I didn't check every item I cannot be certain that all these prices cannot be beaten. But if you think you can find something cheaper elsewhere then PLEASE post a link to your cheaper source and prove your point instead of just casting asperions.MORPH3US wrote:Is it just me, or do other people find that Holland & Barratt prices are usually at least double the price of Boots / Tesco / Asda / Superdrug and so when H&B have a 50% off sale, they are still more expensive than the aforementioned shops?

Hey! I was just making a comment on what I *THOUGHT* but I have not researched the subject, HENCE asking if other people find it to be the case OR NOT!!
HOWEVER, FYI:
Last weekend I purchased 250 Glucosamine Sulphate tablets 500mg for £11.99
H&B are selling 150 Glucosamine Sulphate tablets (500mg) NORMALLY £21.99, 50% OFF!!!! NOW £10.99
I hope that backs up any "aspersions" that I may have cast.
Sorry for any trouble I have caused by asking a question on your thread!

My dog takes 1000 mg of Glucosamine (human tablets). 365 for £8.95 plus £1.95 p + p from zipvit.com
He jumps around like a spring hare!!!
Hope this helps!

Here's food for though - Superdrug make MINIMUM 50% margin on ALL vitamins - much more on own brand. So how much are H&B raking in...?MORPH3US wrote:Is it just me, or do other people find that Holland & Barratt prices are usually at least double the price of Boots / Tesco / Asda / Superdrug and so when H&B have a 50% off sale, they are still more expensive than the aforementioned shops?
