Depends how many of them you want to have plates and cutleryI was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Our venue has a minimum order number of 75% so we'll be going with that.0

We have a buffet for 60, which we've been advised will feed up to 75.0

I've been advised 60% but 70% max.
It may also depend a little on what you are having and how many guests.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

it would all depend on what time your evening do was, and how many of your guests ate at the daytime do (and at what time they ate)
if you are only having an evening do, then you should be catering for all guests
if half of your guests are present at daytime and evening do, then you should expect them to eat about half the quantity, so cater for 75% in the evening

I want to cater for all of our evening guests. I'm never first up at a buffet and by the time I get there all the crappy horrible bits are left. I don't mind this because it's my choice to be slow - but everyone always says about their 'well-stocked' buffet that there was loads of food left over, and no, there wasn't in my opinion!I love surprises!0

We got told to cater for 100% of guests!!
We have invited around 120.
I reckon we will have around 80 people, so that's what we are catering for which works out at 75%.
We're having bacon and sausage baps at midnight though (bar closes at 1am) so they will help soak up the alcohol lolTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
The events staff love the bacon rolls keeps them going while they work on until 3.00 am0
