Leopad System £12.49

Hello

Apologies if this has already been posted, but i was in the bolton store noticed these were reduced, from £25. I am assuming its the actual system rather than the cartridges (or however it works!). There were quite a few on the shelf left.

I think these systems are being superceded so most places are selling them off. Another thread states that the leappads are available in ASDA for £12.49.

I just returned two of these to the Swindon Brunel Argos so they now have 2 in stock. I got them as gifts but the people already had them.

Has anyone found a blue one? I had reserved one at Blackburn but when I went to collect it was pink! I am looking for a blue one. There doesn't seem to be a different catalogue code for each colour. Is there a store phone number I can ring to check before I drive over?
  • It always seem to be the blue ones that are excluded from such deals....I can only assume that the Leapad learning systems aren't as popular with girls (hence reductions in Pink), which fits with my belief that girls are best left to play with baby dolls & tea sets (to prepare them for later life), leaving the complicated stuff to the male of the species.

The two that I returned (see previous post) were blue/green. They use the same code as the pink ones although the description actually said leappad pink.

May be worth a view to see which colour is actually in stock.

I was a bit annoyed cos I actually wanted a pink one!!

FWIW, both Swindon stores have stock
  • thanks to OP, been wondering if I could drop on a cheap one of these.
