Anyone else still getting ID'd?

I was in California a few weeks ago and there they ask you for ID if you look 27 or under - don't ask me why!!!

Sadly I haven't been asked my age for a long time but then I am 52 :rotfl:

Am always ID'd for alcohhol and cigs but am 27 and my OH is 38 and still gets ID'd for alcohol he thinks its awesome, and I suppose at least we both look young lol.

Infact my MIL freaked when she first met me as OH was 35 and she though I was 16, she was rather relieved to find out I was 24.

23 and still get ID'd! I even got ID'd got a lottery ticket !!!!!! :eek: When I showed her my driving license she just said "oh, well, you look about 15" !!! - rude or what. I dont look 23 probs but I deffo dont look under 16 :eek: Its annoys me when they ask me for ID but not chavs who are cleaaaaaaaaarly not 18.

I haven't been ID'd recently, though I don't go out as much as I used to. But I still get people on the phone asking to speak to my parents!! I'm 28!! I've also had people askong who's child mmy son is, apparently I look too young to have an 8 yr old.

I still get ID'd too and I'm 34...although the frequency is tailing off a bit now.
I remember once I was on a date and we'd gone to a restaurant that turned out to be a bring your own bottle...so I offered to run over the road and pick something up at the shop. I came back empty handed and looking a bit sheepish and had to say that I had been refused....
Im quite tall, but still somehow look very young. It doesn't help that I dress like I am much younger though... very casual!

I wish someone would ID me! I begged the supermarket cashier the other day, cos he asked my friend and not me!

I'm 27 and I get asked for ID every week at the supermarket! I clearly look like a sixteen year old who has borrowed 3 kids and bought a trolley full of groceries to cover up for my 1 bottle of wine! Mind you people constantly say 'aw is that your baby?' and when I say yes I have 2 more they say 'I hope you don't mind but how old ARE you?'
I will be one hot granny at this rate :rotfl:

yeah, get asked a lot. I'm 29 now but less than 5 ft and size 8, no wrinkles yet either! It is annoying sometimes, especially if you haven't got it with you. I once took my Boots card out instead of my driving licence and girls younger than me had to buy my drinks! My OH is 38 too so sometimes i'm sure people think he's my dad, specially if i'm in flats and no make up. I do worry bout when i have kids people are gonna look at me and think I'm an underage mother!
