N62 hearing vacated?

Hi all

hope this is in the right place! sorry if it not :) but i have recived a weird letter today from the court i assume about my attachment of earings order its said

upon CAPS being informed that the defendant has left the employment

IT IS ORDERED THAT ( in capps and bold )

The N62 hearing listed on the 24th August 2010 be vacated

Theres no info on what it means or anything :/ anyone have a clue?

    I think it means it has been cancelled because obviously, you have no wages to attach to.

    Not 100% though and I THINK they can attach benefits for things like CSA and tax arrears.....don't quote me though

    Well i dont have them thankfully haha but i did re submit the forms for my new wages ( which are less ) but that was 6 weeks + ago so maybe its just the old order and amount has changed.

    Ill panic when they send me a letter that makes sense thanks peeps:T

    Hi Flightboy - an N62 is issued to the employer when they have failed to make the deductions from your wages as ordered. It summons them to court where they can be fined. It will have been issued because they didnt inform the court when you left their employment and so it just looks like they have stopped paying. Your old employers would have been served with the hearing date which will have prompted them to get in touch with the court and so the action against them has been dropped.

    You will be sent a form N448 and N56 soon (if you havent already) to ask you what your current employment status is. xx
