Always use Farmfoods for my staples now. Milk, Bread, Carton Juice and squash, all good prices and considering we go through loads of milk and about 6-8 loaves of bread each week it saves me a fortune.0

I've been to FF this morning for milk and orange juice, although the milk is still £1.50 for 2, the juice that for along time been 2 for £1 is now 58p each.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

They also had large tins of Princes fruits at 2 for £1 yesterday. I bought the pineapple chunks in juice with 30% extra free (total 565g). They also had strawberries, peaches and something else? but I think these were in syrup and the tins weren't as big.0 -
Delighted to see that frozen leeks were £1 per kg in Farmfoods today. That's the normal price but I've never bought them before. That's almost half what other shops are charging fresh and without the waste and having to clean all the grit out.
Also (and not sure if this would apply to all shops) potatoes were 2 x 2kg bags for £1 BUT the potatoes were really big, ideal for baking. Just thought I'd mention it as 'baking' potatoescan be very expensive.
P.S. Has anyone tried Tesco Value stir fry frozen veg? I normally buy a bag in Farmfoods but noticed on my supermarket that Tesco is even cheaper.0 -
I have had a few leaflets through the door over the past few years for Farmfoods.
I have visited by nearest store once, although things seem cheap I didn't really like the lay out of the store, it felt unwelcoming and like a warehouse.
This noted, the main reason I do not shop at Farmfoods is because the nearest one to me is some 20 miles, so would not be worth the saving to me.0 -

Completely agree with you, I'd not travel 20 miles for Farmfoods. Our local one is quite a pleasant shop though, certainly less warehouse like than Lidl or Aldi. I've never used the vouchers because I don't buy enough of their main commodity (processed junk) to spend £25. Mine is only a mile away so I just do a quick in and out for specific items.0 -

Yes, I like the Tesco one because it has some flavour added but you might prefer just the plain veg. Don't know what Farmfoods are like. I add extra chopped onion, carrots and mushrooms and peppers if I have them, but it's great as a base.Second purse £101/100
