Philips Portable DA1000 DAB & FM Radio - CRYSTAL CLEAR
Price: £33.49
'This item has been returned to a famous High Street store and then been retested and reworked to a professionally refurbished condition. Some units may have been used and therefore may have some marks to the front and/or rear.'
Comes as just the radio, no headphones etc. Good company - they've been going several years, I've bought from them before and been very happy, most recently bought a Netgear router, bargain!! All their prices inc. VAT and delivery.

looks like a typo, the same price as the philips media player next to it0 -
I like the look of this to replace an ageing Sony SRF S83 (lasted me 6 years of heavy use so far) But as its radio only I would need to buy a pair of rechargeable AA batteries and charger, anyone know how much a decent set of those are with charging unit?0

Hmm, yes but there's VAT to add on the Ebay price, making it the same price
As for the headphones, etc, I did say that in my original post

Very poor reviews on Amazon (£82) for this, users cite power button breaking often. Think Ill give it a miss.

ive got one of these, had it for my bday 2 1/2 years ago when it just came out, was about £110 (cheapest at the time). Is quite good reception wise, battery life isnt great, I would think there are lots of newer fancier versions out by now as I suppose its deemed quite an old bit of kit now.0

That doesn't bode well if this product has had so many returns just to a single store they can flog a massive amount of them off.0 -
