I definitely think you could save on your partners mobile costs too. Tesco mobile give you triple what you top up every time so if you put £10 on it you get £30 worth of calls:beer: and you can keep your number so he won't miss any work calls.

Whatever you find you've saved at the end of the month, or week (whichever you prefer) pay off the Very bill. I'm doing this now and its great to see that total going down week by week:j It really does make me feel good to know that I'm getting myself straight again after c*cking up very badly.

Try looking for free days out with the kids-theres a great little website called netmums that lists free/very cheap events in your area.
RE Shopping-fab tip I got on the Old style board was 2x 4 pints of milk for £1.50 and 2 Hovis loaves for £1-this will save you a lot if your house is anything like ours....im sure DH baths in the milk :rotfl:
