Happy Day!!

Yesterday I was offered a job in my current company for a different department and they offered me an extra £1,000 a year. Know it doesnt make much difference but its £60 a month more!
And, I also got a new car yesterday so instead of £60 a month insurance I'm paying £23 and last by not least, I downgraded my bank account so no longer paying a subscription fee of £13 a month.
Just done a quick budget and with all these 'little' savings, I will be able to pay off my overdraft by April and make a massive impact on my credit card so I am very happy today!!!
AND... For once, I can put a little bit of money aside for 'rainy' days
(or towards my credit card, depending if I have a rainy day that month)
Just thought I would share lol

Thanks for all the supporting messages!

Only problem is, now I'm getting myself sorted, its making OH look at his situation and now he feels
because he's in a job he hates and wants to earn more. He's already said he wants to go to college next year to re-train so now I have to make sure I keep him motivated

Ah yes... curry!
Couple of mis-haps with cooking the rice (didnt have a pan big enough for 4 portions) and forgot to buy a couple of spices but it turned out really well. Everyone was impressed
OH even had it as a dinner Sunday night as we had some leftover lol!:j *~* 2011 - TRY TO GET CREDIT CARD AS LOW AS POSS BUT STILL HAVE FUN *~* :j0 -
