Activities for family with toddler in Enniskillen

Options
We are heading down to Enniskillen for the week on holiday and I just wanted to know if anyone knew of any good activities for a toddler.
Also can anyone recommend
- good play parks in the area
- the best beach to go to (is it Bundoran?)
We will be staying close to Killadeas. I have got all the tourist board info, but just looking for any local gems that arn't well advertised.
Thanks in advance!

Best beach is at Rossnowlagh, forget Bundoran with a toddler.

Not well up on toddler activities, too long ago!
  • Castle Archdale has a playpark and is located on the Lisnarick road heading towards Kesh. It also has a cafe in the old courtyard area. As well as this there is a marina and some really nice walks. You could bring some bread and feed the ducks at the Marina as this is the norm :)

Heading towards Enniskillen there is a playpark at the Round 'O' where you can also feed the ducks, but not sure of this as I haven't used it before.

Would also recommend Rossnowlagh beach - it's great. If u do decide to go to Bundoran there is a really good playpark beside WaterWorld (a water park with slides etc) and close by there is an amusement park with rides for children. A typical seaside resort :) Personally I really like Bundoran, but if it's a beach you're after then it's Rossnowlagh. You can even take the car onto the beach if you so wish and there's always an ice-cream van near by :)

    Hope this helps :)

Round 'O' is good for kids, feed the ducks and watch the boats.
Good play park at the Lakeland Forum Leisure Centre - separate play area for toddlers.

Also a wee playpark at Forthill Park, off Belmore Street. Nice for short walks, small play park for kids, bandstand & Cole's Monument (not for toddlers). Nice for a picnic & walk.
