This my first post so please don't scream at me if im in the wrong area, or at least direct me to the right one
So I want to book a holiday abroad in early august 2011, preferably somewhere not obvious like spain, turkey (not that theres nothing wrong with those places) ect, but when I go to first choice for 4 of us, 3 adults and 14 year old child an all inclusive holiday is coming up around £3600+ which is well really out of reach, so I did some browsing and came across onthebeach.co.uk and there prices were extremely cheap in comparison to the leading travel companies, however after some company research I found roughly 80% negative feedback, including extra charges after booked, hidden costs, cancellations, wrong hotel etc etc, anyone advise me wether or not it's trusted, past experiences? or if not can anyone recommend me some trusted reliable websites where I can find a 2 week package holiday all inclusive at at least ok prices, like max £3500.
Thanks!

I would think its far too early for Teletext, they offer last minute type holidaysFiliss0

Have a look at the Complaints forum on https://www.holidaytruths.co.uk before you book with OTB.0

try travel republic, they will price match and have insurances in place if any part of your holiday goes bust0

wouldn't book with o.t.b , they sell you a cheap holiday , then once you've paid they e-mail or phone you to say they plane is full but if you pay ...x amount they can get you on the next one. con men0

I have booked a week a.i in turkey for next august for 2 adults and 2 children for £2066 through First Choice. We looked up reviews and they were all good. I looked around but tbh I didnt really find anything that much cheaper0

I've booked quite a few times with OTB and have never had a problem so far (touch wood), you can travel with the best of travel companies and still experience difficulties. I wouldn't worry too much about booking with OTB, but I would warn you that unlike booking via a package holiday company, you will be required to pay extra for transfers, luggage, food (on plane), insurance etc. This can boost the cost of the holiday, so if you think your actually getting a cheaper holiday at first, add on all the extras and sometimes its not such a good deal...
Anyway, I would recommend OTB as so far, I've never experienced a problem with them but other reviews aren't so good...
Good luck0 -
Thanks for all the feedback, helped me come to a somewhat better decision, think i'm probably gonna stick to first choice just for the sake of past experiences, in the hope i can find somewhere cheap!0
