    Thinking critically since 1996....
  • yes that will be exactly why im afraid, best bet would be to clear of your other debts before trying to get another loan, is it an absolute emergency that you have one? im nosey i know :)

i just mean if its not total urgency then dont get one as you will just end up worse off hun.

    Hi

Its likely that the defaults and missed payments are the reasons.

But how old was the default? how long ago were the missed payments? If they were more than 3-4years ago there could be other reasons you are being declined.

How much are you trying to borrow and how many applications have you made?
What do you currently owe on your loans?

  • I have the same problem. I have a credit card and a pay day loan but other pay day loan companies won't accept me.

    self explanatory
  • This shows the mentallity of people and highlights why this country is in such a mess. Why would anybody lend you money if you have proven over the last couple of years, credit file shows records for 6 years I believe, that you can not, or will not, honour your current commitments. If you are receiving £1500 per month take home and already have various loans, do you not realise you are living beyond your means ??
I would bet that if you were able to continue to get credit, in two or three years time your take home pay would be used totally to repay your loan commitments.
Grow up, learn to budget properly, save the money first and get yourself out of the living of loans culture or you will be sorry.
