Egg Card Intrest rise

I applied for an Egg Money card & since I already had an Egg card with them they did not do a credit search. To the OP - might this be worth a try - you may only get a 15.9% rate on your Egg money but that's better than the increase!
After the Egg money arrived I cancelled the Egg card & told them exactly why!Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0 -
I'll definately be cancelling now - my 0% offer was due to run out at the end of this month and my other abbey national credit card is lying empty as they said they'd make me a low interest offer on a BT, so I rang them earlier and they've offered me 0% until March!! Not bad considering I haven't had to apply for anything! Was debt free... then went travelling!0

Just went looking for the egg money card and saw that egg are advertising 16.9% on their credit card (which is more than enough!). I'd try asking them what they're playing at!I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

It seems to work like a current account for your spending money

It's their other credit card. The main differences are
- you can pre-load the card so it's in credit & earn interest on this credit (but not as much as a good saver or ISA)
- 1% cashback on (some) purchases
- supposedly a lower apr
- no 0% or anniversary offer
I honestly think part of the reason the Egg card has got worse so quickly is to make people change over to the Egg money.Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0 -
