I am sure there are loads in job section on Gumtree, Fish4jobs etc. You can even submit an ad on Gumtree/ stating you're looking for work in the marketing sector....it's important to take the first step...action=reaction..0

Prospects is good for graduate jobs and advice.
Be warned though some of the grad schemes aren't all they're cracked up to be. It may be a good idea to do some speculative applications to smaller companies as well."It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice." :T0

Ignore anything that says face to face marketing. You have been warned0

Marketing can cover a wide range of things and as someone pointed out alot of "marketing" jobs are in fact salesmen, admin, leafleting, cold calling etc, also any ad which has the words "ote" in them!
If you want a pure marketing consultancy role with international companies like WPP they run graduate schemes but are VERY compeitive however this will be what marketing is about.
Other industries also have internal marketing positions like banks e.g. rbs/barclays, Mars, Cadburys and thousands others!0

I've heard that the social networking site LinkedIn can be good for finding marketing opportunities.

Good luck, my OH has been looking for a Marketing/Event Management Graduate job since May 2008! Unless you wanna work in field sales or commission only there is nothing in Scotland, the decent jobs all look for experience and you cant get experience unless you get a job 0 0

How good are you at online marketing? I earn my living online using various online marketing methods.
It wouldn't hurt, while you're waiting, to give that a go.... Top tip: don't pay for anything, if you don't know what you're buying then you can't use it. Lots of free ways to cash in on your knowledge ..... I could think of quite a few legitimate money makers, without a penny of spend.
It'd also be something to add to your CV...0

Please dont take this the wrong way but surely if you have just graduated in this area you might have previously started reading and looking into where best to find these jobs!
Have you got any work experience in this area? What industry would you like to work in and what area of marketing?0
