Capital one not listening

Hi there any ideas out there as to what makes capital one so irritating set up a DMP negotiating myself with the help of CASHflow advisor, prepared statement and sent off letters all accepted, but these idiots. I have been contacted by a debt collection agency I sent them my offer and statement they refered me back to capital one and the process starts again now they want proof of income benefits etc but my statement shows all income and expenditure is it just a different department sending me the same letters over and over again should I wait or reply to them now

You could send another copy in so they each have one. In the meantime make the payments you can afford.

Thanks for the advise I have been paying the amount offered for about 4 months but the letters keep coming and they dont seem to acknowledge any CASHflow letters even though they signed up to a deal along with other creditors to help people just like me through CASHflow its all very frustrating

Quite often even when you are happily settled in a payment plan you will get weekly/monthly/frequent demand letters. Just keep the company up to date with your circumstances and I've always paid mine by recurring online payment so i can vary the amounts to reflect current circs. Also if the debt has moved companies then I've simply written to the new DCA and requested their bank details.

For the last 4 years I've had 2 letters a month from Moorcroft informing/demanding by turn that I up my payments, can be taken to court etc etc etc... I just file them and send the odd update saying for example I have finished a fixed contract so dropping my amount, or new position so upping it again. Try not to stress about the letters if you are paying them what you can afford :)
