How long before a redetermination hearing - CCJ

Can anyone tell me how long it takes before you get notification of a redetermination hearing for a CCJ. I have had a judgement made against me to pay £500 per month and I have written to northampton County court to inform them that I want a hearing to make a lower more affordable payment but have not yet heard anything yet and the first installment would be Monday 9th August ( I will not be paying this). I did receive a letter before the 14 day deadline was up and the same day I applied for redetermination hearing to say the matter had been transferred to my local court for enforcement, so I then wrote to the local court but so far not received any acknowledgement or confirmation a hearing will take place. I am so worried.

Hi, In a mess, correspondence is usually dealt with within 10 working days of receiving it if you sent your chase up letter to your local court more than 2 weeks ago then give them a ring to see where it is up to xxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Hi,
I'm going in for a redetermination as well very soon.
This whole Northampton thing sucks. The Clerks seem to rubber stamp stuff
I am currently looking at options during redetermination and I am making sure I have got a very precise income and expenditure sheet to show the judge.
I am also familiarizing myself myself with what factors might guide the judge when it comes to making a decision.
There are factors like income, equity, receipt of child tax credit/benefit , number of creditors . I can go through what I know about these with you if you are not familiar. It would help clarify them for myself by doing so and others here can add to them as well.
It seems quite scary, but if you use all that worry to prepare properly than it is not half as bad.
My big fear at the moment is I don't have any suitable clothes because I haven't been able to afford any for a few years.0 -
I've just rung the county court where the redetermination is to take place. They are easy to contact and approachable. Might be worth
ringing the court you have applied to be transferred to . They will be able to confirm what the creditor is going after- Charging order / warrant , and the date of your hearing if you haven't received notification in the post.
Actually, I rang Northampton, asked some calm questions and got some good clear answers. Same with local court.
Trick is to stay calm and polite, if you want to use the system to your full advantage.0
