frozen pension help

hi all
ten years ago i took out a company pension,after two years company got took over, new company had their own pension scheme so first pension now sits in an account somwhere doing very little.question is can get this transfered to another pension scheme or into my bank account to reduce my overdraft.regards

You'll need to speak to an advisor and see what the posibilities are, with the full details and IFA should be able to give you the best solution. Most probably you can get this transferred to another pension scheme and get done with it.

Getting it sent to your bank account is not an option though, once money is in a pension it stays in there till you retire unfortunatelly...
