Ramadan offers 15kg sugar £8@ Tesco

As title, 15 1kg packs of normal granulated sugar for £8 in Tesco. They are in the Ramadan special offers aisle, also had 10kg Rozana Basmati rice for £9, some spices for half price and lots of other good offers.

Sorry? Sugar is only 98p a kg in Sainsburys and Tesco, and much cheaper (69p/79p) in places like Aldi and Poundstretcher.

Just make sure the checkout person scans the big red barcode on the top and doen't put it through as 15 bags.
Thereagain if they do put it through as 15 bags you could always go claim DTD from CSD and get the sugar for almost free.

There I was thinking, "Wow, what a bargain." only to be disappointed to notice that this is an old thread from last year that's been bumped up.
