Hi
Im hoping someone can help,Im in the process of starting my first Business, for which i was asked to provide credit searches for myself and the other partner,I used Experian Via Credit expert Online
I have now been informed that this was only a summary credit search and that they require a more comprehensive credit search,as far as i was aware the information i gave was the most i can get
How do i get a more comprehensive credit search and where is the best place for this
Thanks very much for your time

You should be able to get your full credit file from credit expert -- did you print out the full info showing all your credit accounts and history etc, details of any financial associations, aliases, previous address? List of credit searches/applications within the last 2 years? I wonder if you only printed a summary page?
That said to get a total picture you really need to see the data from all 3 of the registered credit reference agencies, which are experian, equifax and callcredit. This is because not all creditors report all the info to every agency.
You can get a statutory report from all of these for £2 each.
By the way - who is asking for this info from you? If it is a bank who you have approached for funding they would normally do the searches themselves. Or are you hoping to get funds from a private investor?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
