4 year hiatus, will I stay on CS1 or go on CS2?

I used to pay old rules CSA until 2006 when I got a job on cruise ships as a keyboardist/piano player for a company based in Miami and the assessment ended. My ex applied for a REMO but its nil because I dont earn enough under Miami State child maintenance laws and do not have a permanent address I live onboard ship. For 2011 season, I am thinking about returning to the UK and signing up with an agency offering pit work (working in the musicians pit in a theater) and the UK holiday parks report an increase in domestic holidays and looking to recruit.

Im not entirely sure the CSA actually closed my case, I think they may have suspended maintenance pending my return. If I did return to the UK and a new CSA assessment started, would I be on new rules? Thanks.

If they closed the case, you would have had a letter saying it was closed. If you are not sure, there is nothing stopping you from calling them and asking the above question.

My guess the case was closed and you'll be on CSA2 rules.

If suspended it would be CS1.

I cant receive a letter because I dont have a permanent address, I live onboard ship. Ill phone them, but my feeling I would still be on the unforgiving CS1 rate.
