Where can I buy light corn syrup?

Does anyone have any idea where I can buy this product? I have googled and looked locally without success. I searched it on mysupermarket.com and it didnt bring anything up either.

Also, does anyone know if coconut fat and coconut oil are one and the same thing?

If light corn syrup is not available, you can substitute a sugar syrup made with 1-1/4 cups sugar and 1/3 cup water, boiled together until syrupy. If your recipe calls for dark corn syrup, we’d suggest using a sugar syrup with a dash of dark treacle or unsulfured molasses, both of which are derived from sugar cane.

I wish American recipe books would cater for us Brits lol. Coconut fat would have me looking for a block of lardlike stuff so why they didnt say it was oil I've no idea :(

They're not exactly the same thing, but golden syrup is probably the closest equivalent that you'll find cheaply in the UK. If you're desperate for corn syrup, then you can get it online from places like American Sweets (sorry, can't post links as I'm new) - I think the brand is Karo, or something like that. Coconut oil you can get quite easily in the UK, you should be able to pick it up in health food stores or you can buy it online from place like Goodness Direct. You might even be able to get it from somewhere like Holland and Barratt or Julian Graves, they sometimes have stuff like that in.
