I have used Max Factor Masterpiece mascara for quite a while... its brilliant! Anyway I decided to buy some Maybelline Falsies mascara as it sounded even better than the one I was using. I found it to be absolute rubbish. The wand is very bendy making the mascara difficult to apply. It also clumps something awful. I know its a cheapie at £6.89p but the MF one is only £9.89p but there is a big difference in quality.
Just thought I would mention it in case anyone is thinking of buying it as they are advertising it on TV at the moment. I have thrown mine in the bin.

Could you not take it back as not being fit for purpose?0

Thanks for the warning
, I was considering buying this, as my lashes are a bit short and sparse these days and I was taken in by the advertising too. Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

I just tried the million lashes one which is pretty good actually. And its on offer in Boots at the mo - £7.99 save £3 (I usually use max factor too)0

I didn't like the falsies much either, not so much clumping issues but more that it just didn't have any 'wow' factor. The collossal is much better! Bojours also have some good ones that are worth trying.0

you could email maybelline and let them know. i'm sure they want comments whether good or bad - and as a goodwill they may offer an alternative! i had a problem with one of the loreal eyeshadows - a beautiful denim blue, which when applied came out black. i use brush and sponge. i emailed and expressed my concern, they asked me to phone them and give a the batch number and said that i could choose an alternative colour as a replacement. that came in the post the next day. so you never know!0

I absolutely LOVE the maybelline one!! I guess different things work for different people!0

Often a mascara can be redeemed by using a brush from another mascara that has been finished (if the brush is the major issue). I also agree email the company.Thailand 3010/15000 20150

Good thread. I have just economised by buying M&S mascara - supposedly waterproof. I looked like a panda by 6pm. Then , having taken it off, I had smears under my eyes this morning!
Grrrr! I am tempted to take it back, even though it was only £6.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
