I am hoping that some of you lovely moneysavers can help me. I have been an avid user of Liz Earle products (Eyebright for removing make-up, Instant Boost Skin Tonic as a toner, Skin Repair Moisturiser for face and the Botanical Body Cream as a body moisturiser - didn't use the cleanse and polish as it didn't seem to suit me) for a number of years but am now in the situation where I can no longer afford to spend this sort of money on skin care.
I am also mortified to see that LE has sold out to Avon as I feel this may change the products - can't believe I never saw this, so thank you to all who posted details of this on the site!
So what would you recommend as cheaper alternatives that you have found to be as good? I have already made the move to Aqueous Cream as a moisturiser, and it is fantastic.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received, and thank you in advance!

No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser is just as good as Liz Earles
. It's only £8.15 too! x

Aqueous cream is not at all a bad choice for anyone with dry skin who uses a lot of cream regularly and you really can't beat the price. While you are picking it up why not go try some Witchazel BP as a skin toner? Used sparingly, it might do the trick nicely.
I'm tempted to suggest getting some lanolin as well for very dry skin. It definitely works well but the neat stuff from the chemist does take a bit of getting used to and takes a while to rub in.Student of the science of beauty0
