Gas Safety Engineer In Glasgow?
My mum lives in a 3 bedroom property in Bishopbriggs, just outside Glasgow. She's looking for a reputable, and reasonably priced
gas engineer to do a safety check (central heating boiler and gas fire).
The boiler is approx. 15 years old, the fire, about 5 years.
Can anyone recommend someone, with an estimate, if possible?
Many thanks.

Hi LouLou, we recently had a gas cooker installed by a corgi registered fitter, I can pm you his contact details if you like?
I had been phoning around for quotes and he was very reasonable and extremely professional.

Mum was going to go through the Yellow Pages but it's safer going through the word of mouth route

If you could PM me it would be great. Thanks.0 -
I have sent the PM
I know what you mean - we trawled through yell.com...... and thompson local before we found him.0 -
Hi Loulou , I recently had a new gas boiler installed and checked the corgi website which provided me with details of all local gas engineers and I just phoned a few and got quotes . I didn't necessarily take the cheapest one but they are all corgi engineers which is good for peace of mind cheers shrewdalLouLou wrote:My mum lives in a 3 bedroom property in Bishopbriggs, just outside Glasgow. Hi LouLou,
I used to be heavily into buy-to-let, and used a company called IQA utilities in Abercorn street, Paisley.
Service was excellent, great engineers and very, very reasonable - even to the point of when I told other Landlords of what I was paying for my landlord safety certificates etc, they thought I was lying!
Highly recommended.0
