  • Gordikin, she is bl@@dy trying to pay it, the moron is refusing to let her and wants to make her BR. So get off your high horse and go and play some where else.

thanks tiger feet yes the other mans comment was silly - I have been fighting this for one year - i had i think bad advice from a legal aid solicitor when this first started up a year there was no written agreement however in law apparently a verbal agreement is as good! I asked for a spreadsheet from friend at the time so I could see how much I was paying and how much was left owing - I ve paid back 21K already - outstanding was around 22K however now he wants 40K with interest and costs! i never admitted to not owing always said wanted to pay offered settlement figure if i could secure a loan or monthly payments - the solicitor i have now thinks this is pure jealously on his part or his partners - she is jealous cos ive been close to him for 24 years - crazy i know - however the situation now is i do have a ccj and have a court hearing on 19th i have written to judge to ask for adjournement as i m applying for an iva for a credit card not sure if this will protect me but doing my best to avoid br.. seeing solicitor again tomorrow.

Possibly just a reference to the fact that you have a lot of threads running all basically saying the same thing, it might be better to keep all the same problem in the same thread. I can see around 5 threads already?
