Green & Blacks 25% off offer

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd share this offer in this month's Y&YW magazine - 25% off orders for G&B wedding favour chocolates :)

The website is: http://www.greenandblacksdirect.com/?source=webgains&siteid=42078

You get to pick 3 different flavours and ribbon to match your theme and they put them all together for you and send them out near the day. To get 25% off, the code is G&BY&YW.

HTH xx :D

I have emailed them to check out expiry dates but do they actually send them nearer the day then?

Also what is the expiry date of the code?

Ooops, meant to put that too but forgot! Ad says code valid until 31st October 2010.

I assume that's why they don't send you the chocolate until near your wedding, so it's all got a good life span. All it says is: "each parcel will be stacked, ribboned and kept at the perfect temperature until it's ready to be sent in time for your big day."

They have quite a long shelf life, the ones I bought the other week won't go off until next year.
Also, without the 25% discount, these are £1.80 per 3, the ones in the shops are about £1 per 3, if the offer is still on.

Thanks this is a great offer, if you want to save a bit more and can be bothered making up the favours yourself the minature bars are 20 for £10 working out at £7.50, so for three it is roughly £1.10? so if you wanted to choose more variety and can be bothered to add your own ribbon you could probably save a few more pennies.

Does anyone know the size of the favour bars in comparison to the minatures - are they the same?

this is a great deal, i dont need favours, but wanted to get some chocs to put out with the tea and coffee, so am thinking i will do these - was going to get chocs in colour scheme, but these work out so much cheaper!

Thanks for posting the code. If you wanted to make your own, Tesco have the multipack of 15 minis for under £4, just need to do the ribbon neatly...

Edited to add: This works out at less than £1 per set, rather than £1.35 with this offer.
