Thanks Uncertain. That is indeed what I meant! I did google whether recording someone was illegal or not before I posted! Dang google. It gives you so many answers... But illegal or not, if you want to record someone, tread with caution.

Judas - the grievance has not been completed ie we have not been advised of any outcome. I don't see how they can do anything but uphold his points as the evidence is there. It seems to me (and to be honest I really don't know much) as though they don't want to conclude the procedure as they will be backed in to a corner and so have to deal with the issues raised. It seems like they just want rid of him so the problem will go away.I don't want to give specific details as I don't want him identified.

We had hoped that when the two individuals were informed that a grievance had been raised they would change. Unfortunately as soon as they thought it had been concluded (it hadn't just the end of the initial stage) they escalated the behaviour and despite being "spoken to " informally have shown that it is never going to end. It appears as though they think they can do what they want.

My partner can't go back to work as he is so ill. He is getting a lot of help but the problem is that as long as these individuals are there I don't see him ever being able to go back as they are the cause of his illness.

Spring Chicken - best of luck. It is so hard to watch the person you love being destroyed.
